Our Story – From Play to Powerful Change
Bee The Change wasn’t created in a boardroom. It was born from real challenges in housing — how to truly hear every resident, especially those who rarely speak.
What started as a simple idea has become a powerful movement.
Voices Captured, Not Missed
Bee The Change ensures every participant contributes, not just the loudest in the room. Through structured gameplay and inclusive design, even the quietest voices are heard, valued, and recorded. No digital barriers, no pressure — just honest conversations that lead to meaningful insight and stronger, more representative decision-making.
Unique Conversations Created
Every session is different. With multiple gameplay routes, themes, and facilitation styles, Bee The Change creates thousands of unique discussion pathways. This flexibility keeps engagement fresh, relevant, and tailored — helping organisations uncover deeper insight and explore challenges from multiple perspectives every time the game is played.
Participants More Confident to Share
Residents often leave sessions feeling more confident, included, and listened to. The game creates a safe, supportive space where people can express experiences without judgement. This shift builds trust, strengthens relationships, and encourages ongoing engagement — turning one conversation into a long-term connection with your organisation.
Where It Began
2021
In 2021, Mark Gittos created Appy Daze — a board game designed to tackle digital exclusion without fear or stigma.
Players laughed, connected, and learned — often without realising they were building digital skills. What felt like play was actually confidence, independence, and inclusion in action.
From Inclusion to Influence
2025
Mark saw a bigger challenge across housing — not just digital exclusion, but unheard voices.
In 2025, he created Bee The Change – The Influence Hive™, combining:
- Real-life housing insight
- Proven engagement practice
- Game-based participation
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
2025
Not Consultation. Not Survey. Something Better.
Most engagement tools ask questions.
Bee The Change creates shared experiences.
- People don’t feel interrogated — they feel involved
- Quiet voices are heard alongside confident ones
- Insight emerges naturally, not forced

What Our Customers Say
GET IN TOUCH
Complete the enquiry form today and take the first step towards joining the Bee The Change Hive.
Are your current engagement methods really working?
Are they truly inclusive — reaching the quiet voices, the digitally excluded, the people who rarely speak up?
Do they give you insight you can confidently act on — insight that genuinely shapes services, policy and outcomes?
Or… are you hearing the same voices, seeing the same patterns, and hoping it’s enough?
Because if you’re honest, you already know the answer.
Bee The Change offers a different way forward.
Not another survey. Not another meeting.
A structured, human approach that creates space for people to think, speak and be heard — properly.
A way to move beyond assumption and into understanding.
From feedback into evidence.
From listening into action.
What this means for you:
- You reach voices that are often missed — quietly, naturally, without pressure
- You gather richer, more honest insight that reflects real lived experience
- You create a safe, inclusive environment where people feel able to contribute
- You connect insight directly to decisions, policies and service design
- You build clear, credible evidence for scrutiny, governance and regulation
- You strengthen trust — with residents, with staff, and across your organisation
- You give your teams a practical, repeatable way to engage, learn and improve
- You move from “we asked” to “we digested— and we did”
This isn’t about doing more engagement.
It’s about doing it differently — and doing it in a way that actually works.
